We have recently covered the equity unit trusts managed by Electus. Electus is one of the Old Mutual boutiques which originated around 8 years ago. In January 2015 it was announced that Electus and OMIGSA would part ways, and Electus would become a 100% independent fund manager. This is a material change which was driven from the OMIGSA side and which impacts the fund rating. We have subsequently placed their funds under review, pending more clarity on what the reformed Electus looks like.
