We have released 2 updates over the past few months regarding the change in best of breed manager for the Nedgroup Investments Growth Fund from Electus to Laurium Capital. These can be found here and here.
We can now provide an additional update following further clarification we have received from Laurium regarding their intentions for the management of the fund. Laurium have confirmed that the Nedgroup Investments Growth Fund will be managed according to the exact same investment philosophy and portfolio construction as the Laurium Equity Prescient Fund, which carries a Tier 2 rating.
While the end goal is for the two funds to essentially be mirrors of each other, the Nedgroup Investments Growth Fund is currently undergoing a measured transition process. This transition process was started on the 1st of July when Laurium became the investment managers of the portfolio. Investors currently invested in the fund should therefore expect a period of increased turnover as this process follows due course.
We are retaining the "Under Review" status of the fund until this transition process is completed. At that stage we will provide a further update on both the status of the fund and associated Tier rating.
